Friendship trees

Hà Nội has West Lake, a natural lake with an area of up to 520 hectares, considered the precious gem of the Capital and the whole country.

It is a cultural area with more than 71 historical relics bearing the mark of Thăng Long capital of thousand years of civilization, such as Trấn Quốc pagoda, Tây Hồ, palace, Đồng Cổ temple, with special festivals and traditional villages as An Thái paper, Nhật Tân peach blossom, Tứ Liên ornamental kumquat, Quảng An lotus, Phú Thượng sticky rice...

Therefore, Tây Hồ district is chosen by many ambassadors and foreigners as a place to live and travel when arriving in Vietnam.

At the Street Food, Art Performance Space in Tây Hồ District, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District invited representatives of many national embassies in the city to participate in a friendship tree planting activity on June 4. This activity is in response to World Environment Day (June 5 every year) and the Program to plant 1 billion trees, period 2021-2025, launched by the Prime Minister of Vietnam. The tree chosen to grow this year is the Burma Padauk tree.
