Cay De Shrine, also known as Chung Sinh Shrine, is located at house number 237, Thuy Khue Street, Thuy Khue Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi City.
There are several routes from the city centre to the historical site; however, the most convenient and accessible route is as follows: From Hoan Kiem Lake, proceed straight along Trang Thi Street until reaching Dien Bien Phu Street, then turn right onto Hoang Dieu Street and continue to Nguyen Bieu Street, turn left into Quan Thanh Street, pass the intersection of Thanh Nien and Hung Vuong Streets, and proceed along Thuy Khue Street towards the end of the road. The site is located on the left-hand side at house number 237, Thuy Khue Street.
According to local elders, the Shrine was initially dedicated to wandering spirits before being decorated with devotional sculptures. There are no particular historical sources that show the exact year of its construction. However, the remaining architectural features indicate that the Shrine was created in the early 20th century.
